Celebrations of the 74th Republic Day of India, 2023

Relay of Friendship: Russia - India” dedicated to the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence. Yoga master-classes, rangoli, chess and painting competitions were held, followed by gala dance performance by Bharatnatyam and Kathak groups from Vladivostok and Nakhodka cities.

On 26 June, as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav week, Consulate General of India in Vladivostok organized a masterclass titled ‘Introduction to Indian instruments’ at Artic State Institute of Culture and Arts in Yakutsk. This was followed by a performance of the 9-member all women Symphony Band from ICCR!
On 25 June, as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, CGI, with ICCR invited a 9 member all women ensemble to Yakutsk, to perform at the Ysyakh Tuymaada festival
As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav week, CGI Vladivostok in association with Indian Students Association, Far Eastern Federal University, held “Amrit Vastra Mahotsav” an India-themed fashion event, which had the participation of students from India, Russia, Afghanistan, Iran, Korea and many others!
