Mr. Nikhilesh Giri, Deputy Chief of Mission, EoI Moscow and Mr. Siddarth Gowrav, Consul General of India, CGI Vladivostok participated in Ysyakh celebrations in the Republic of Sakha(Yakutia) and on the sidelines met with H. E. Mr. Aisen Nikolaev, Head of the Republic, Mr. Evgeny Grigoriev, Mayor of Yakutsk City,  Mr. Anatoly Nikolaev, Rector, North Eastern Federal University and  Mr. Pyotr Chiryaev, General Director, Extra Cinema. They discussed the growing relations of the region with India and shared the need to support activities aimed at enhancing and expanding ties, to increase people to people ties through tourism and cultural exchanges and also discussed the area of film exhibition as a potential area of further cooperation between India and Russia.
