Invitation to Russian Railway Companies to invest in India

The Embassy of the Republic of India invites Russian Companies to participate in running passenger trains over 109 tracks in India, through introduction of 151 modern trains.
The Ministry of Railways, Government of India has invited Request for Qualifications (RfQ) for private participation in this promising project that would entail investment of about 4 Bn USD. This is the first initiative of private investment for running passenger trains over Indian Railway Network.
The list of clusters, and other documents and details are available at https://eprocure.gov.in/eprocure/app, captioned as “Passenger Train Operations”. The Due Date for the application of RfQs is 8 September 2020. A pre-application conference to address queries of prospective bidders is scheduled for August 12, 2020 (through Video Conferencing). You are urged to attend this Conference to seek any clarification.
